　　《泪洒天堂》是艾里克·克莱普顿献给他死去的儿子的。1991年，克莱普顿4岁的儿子由于保姆不慎，意外坠楼身忙，这个打击几乎让他一蹶不振。从此他寄情与音乐，用不间断的创作缓解难以负荷的伤痛。

　　他的歌声苍凉悲壮却又柔情似水，似乎到了他的歌声中，阴阳两界都变得不重要了，有的，只是天堂大门两边的那种无限的亲情和浓得化不开的爱。克莱普顿凭这首歌一举夺得1993年格莱美的6项大奖。
